The chalet was beautiful. It was a memorable experience to have our own private jacuzzi. Even though it was cold outside, the heated jacuzzi just made it worth it!! We also appreciated the service of the staff, who went out of their way to make us comfortable. When the batteries of the aircon remote was dead, Terrance came to assist even though he was off shift. We loved the privacy of the chalet, having our own little "nook". We will definitely go back whenever we need to unwind

Lovely venue. Nice touches, like the coffee machine in room (however it didn't work the last morning - not sure if the water was empty and we weren't told how to fill it etc.) Staff was excellent! Breakfast was great.

Bedroom and bed and bedding – nice layout, very comfortable and good quality, we especially liked “Echo” (version of “Siri”), playing with the various lighting and music. The private little patio, with views out onto the pool and valley, enjoying your early morning tea, is a nice touch. The grounds are beautifully maintained and with walkways for walks around the property. Bathroom – clean, hot water with strong water pressure, a nice touch is the automated light for when you go to the bathroom at night. Breakfast - We enjoyed the tasty breakfasts in the indoor, outdoor setting, with their three pets visiting making it nicely homely. For dinners, the onsite restaurant a definite plus and the food was delicious. Overall, onsite photos are a true reflection of the property and we highly recommend. The customer service and the friendliness of the staff stood out for us; everyone was wonderful – the day manager gave us great tips on what we could do in the surrounding area. We had a wonderful visit, thank you.

The staff and customer service are amazing. I haven't experienced good customer service like this in years, all staff went above and beyond and came across as professional friendly polite and extremely helpful! Its great that there are so many rooms available that feature a hot tub at varying price ranges. We were thinking about bringing our furbaby with but opted not to in the end. But after seeing the facilities I would definitely recommend this as a good spot for anyone traveling with small pets. Rooms have a private courtyard that can be closed and the surroundings are very peaceful. The Pets on property are very friendly and well-behaved. Thank you for our stay :)

My stay at theLab Robertson was amazing. All the staff were friendly, professional and efficient. I had a wonderful neck and back massage in a wooden cabin across the lake; what a way to be close to nature. The breakfast was delicious. I would recommend theLab as a great breakaway that is located in a beautiful, relaxing setting. It is also a dog friendly environment, so pet lovers can bring their fur babies. TheLab is also in close proximity to various wine farms. I did a pairing at Van Loveren Family Wine Farm situated in a beautiful garden that is worth a visit. Thank you for my experience at theLab.

Had a very enjoyable stay. The setting is stunning with beautiful views and the old Dutch cape style building was very picturesque. Our room was very well appointed, large and very bright and airy. A good A/C system was very welcome at night time. There is a nice pool where you can cool down and swim which overlooks a lake and plenty of birdlife can be seen. Plenty of choices where to sit and either eat or have a drink. All the staff were lovely, very friendly, helpful and attentive so we felt very well looked after. Breakfasts were great and we enjoyed our evening meals as well. Definitely recommend.

Stayed at The Lab, in a one room studio type apartment, in April 2025 for three days to attend a wedding. A great spot to stay. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, very private. Had a small private jacuzzi which was lovely. The food was delicious; service was great and the scenery and views magnificent. The area around the bar and restaurant was a great spot to sit and enjoy breakfast and a drink. The clear shower in the main room took a bit of getting used to. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Would stay here again.
